Studio
My studio is a space filled with work tables, wooden shelves, tools and books. Words and messages are written on walls and on shards of paper hanging everywhere. Working in this space slows the pace of life. I have learned that the physical properties of clay making like drying and firing doesn't occur all at once. It is only over time that one can get to know a form, a glaze, the essence of a pot. I welcome the slow pace and I welcome the serendipitious. In solitude we discover what makes us feel alive.
